'Peters also radically altered his diet, significantly reducing his caloric intake by about one half, and was in bed by about 10:30 each night. All Peters' efforts paid off handsomely. He showed up at training camp this fall at 227 pounds and had reduced his body fat from 13 to 8.6 per cent. The end result is a player who can still hold his own as one of the toughest guys in the league, but also keep up with the likes of speedy teammates such as Derek Roy, Daniel Briere and Maxim Afinogenov.'
