Fans win versus Time Warner

Source: Buffalo News

‘OLN, now called Versus, was able to negotiate a deal that kept the channel on what Time Warner calls classic cable this season. The arrangement was never made public but the channel remains there now (Ch. 71 in Erie and Niagara counties, Ch. 66 in Springville, Olean and Wellsville) that Time Warner has replaced Adelphia as the area’s cable provider. “We have no plans to take [Versus] off,” said Gordon Harp, the division president for Time Warner.’
