Dual affiliation continues

Source: Rochester D&C

‘While the Sabres will continue to hire the coaches for their 28th season in Rochester, each NHL team will have separate development contracts with the Amerks and will provide 10 to 12 players. This season, the Panthers were invited into Rochester by Buffalo and given only eight roster spots. “This is truly Florida’s team as much as Buffalo’s team,” Amerks president Steve Donner said of the new one-year deal.’
