'Things couldn’t have gone much better for Paille in his final year of junior hockey. In addition to leading the Storm to the J. Ross Robertson Cup championship and a coveted berth in the Memorial Cup playdowns, Paille was the captain of the Canadian national team that returned home with the silver medal from the World Junior Hockey Championships in Helsinki, Finland. He capped it all off by signing a two-way contract with the Sabres that could earn him as much as $3 million over three years if he meets all of the benchmarks for bonuses.'
