'The Buffalo Sabres named Dan DiPofi chief operating officer. Previously with the Rochester Americans, DiPofi returns to the Sabres after working for the organization from 1989 to 1998. DiPofi will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the team and HSBC Arena. The Sabres also named John Livsey director of corporate sales, and Jody Ulrich director of suite sales.'
