Bassin's group prepared to bid on NHL's Sabres

Source: Erie Times News

"The group has retained a pro group to do researching on, as they say, due diligence, which is just another word for doing the homework," Bassin said. "I don't know if you can call it the finalization stages or down the stretch, because you don't know what's going to be uncovered yet. "We haven't made an offer," he said. "The issue is very simple: When the homework is done and the final dissection is done and presented to the group of prospective investors, and they dissect the dissection, if the right t's are crossed and the i's dotted, they're prepared to make an offer."'
