Sometimes things come a little too late. The may be the case with the Buffalo Sabres, who kept their very slim playoff hopes alive Friday night with a 3-1 victory over the Florida Panthers. The odds against the Sabres making the playoffs are almost as long as winning the New York State Lotto, but the Sabres apparently arent throwing in the towel just yet.
