Former Sabre Pat LaFontaine is appearing in a charity game April 7 in the Boston area. The proceeds of the Microsoft Hockey Challenge will go toward building an interactive computer room for children who are patients at the Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Brighton, MA. ”The first [interactive room] was going to be in Buffalo, and we still hope to do that along with LA. But there’s been a little bit of a political war to try to save the [Children’s] hospital,” said LaFontaine.
